CURRENT WORKS/IDEAS
I am working on combining and expanding the use of random chance events, along with current world news, as key creative factors in creating larger scale sonic compositions. Such a task requires developing an algorithm that analyzes news feeds, and then outputs those feeds to MAX for a sonic representation. Such abstract, but reliable values can be assigned to trends in world events, which will trigger a series of sequences, music, sounds, synthesizers, and live audio. In turn, every news cycle will create a new sonic composition. And so on and so forth. Such a project functions as a means of creative demonstration of the barrage of information we endure living in a digital space.
